Based in Paderborn and founded in 1885, Heinr. Schmidt GmbH & Co. KG has been selling commercial vehicles and developing trailer and body designs for over 80 years. Tradition, an enthusiasm for innovation combined with a developed sense of service have shaped our company policy.
In a constantly changing transport market, we believe it is particularly important to offer our customers a complete one-stop service package for all their transport needs.
Ultra-modern service centre with futuristic architecture
Our new administration and workshop complex, directly located on the A33 motorway (exit Paderborn- Zentrum) makes a bold statement both from an architectural point of view as well as with regard to its structure and functionality. With 14,000 m2 of grounds and 3,000 m2 of buildings, we can fulfil all of our customers’ transport industry needs. A total of 26 gates mark the way to the various workshop areas. Our workshop equipment naturally meets with the cutting edge of technology. And that’s not all we have to offer.
For example, our new "Drivers Inn". While drivers are waiting for their vehicles to be finished, we provide a lounge or sleeping room with a shower and separate kitchen. Now that’s our idea of personal service.
Our company is of course certified in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System DIN ISO 9001 and 9002.
